HAROLD GUSDORF

A pillar of excellence in swimming officiating since 2002, Harold has served as a Swimming Victoria Technical Official, currently holding Referee Level 2 and Starter Level 2 qualifications. His dedication spans club meets, state championships, national events, and even international competitions, including the Tri Series in New Zealand and Victoria.

Harold’s expertise extends to open water events, where he’s officiated at every level and was recently appointed a Bronze Level Official by World Aquatics. Locally, he’s been Metro South District Referee since 2014 and a long-standing District Delegate to Swimming Victoria. His leadership also includes three years on the Technical & Officials Development Committee.

In 2019, Harold was honoured with the prestigious Bill Slade Award—Official of the Year. Week in and week out, he’s a familiar and trusted presence on pool decks across the state, mentoring new officials and generously giving his time to support our swimming community.
